What kind of files can I upload?

Right now, you can upload documents, images, audio, and video files in most common formats. Soon, we will also add support for broader file formats such as design files and programs.
  • image: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif
  • audio: .mp3, .wav, .mp4
  • video: .mov, .avi
  • document: .pdf, .txt, .doc, .epub, .docx

Why do I have to upload files to storage before publishing a work?

Decentralization is fundamental to Mogaokoo's ethos. All listing data, including associated files, is stored on IPFS and indexed by Graph. To generate listing metadata before submission to the smart contract, we must first upload each file to IPFS to obtain its unique content ID.

How many files can I upload to my storage?

You can upload an unlimited number of files as long as they stay within your creator plan’s storage limit.

How can I remove or replace an uploaded file?

You can not replace uploaded files as all files are pinned on IPFS. You can remove an uploaded file from your storage by clicking on the Unpin button in the storage file list and then upload the updated file to your storage again. However, only unused files can be unpinned from your storage. If you already add a file to a listing, you need to remove the file from the listing first.

Why do I see error when directly clicking on asset link in my storage?

Rest assured, your files are securely protected with us. To enhance file security, we've implemented access controls on our IPFS gateway. This means that only authorized hosts can access and display your files. If you encounter an error when trying to directly open the asset link in your browser, please access and view your files through the listing page instead.
