How to schedule to enlist or delist a work?

Select 'Yes' for the 'Enlist / Delist on a featured date' option and set your desired dates. An delist date is not mandatory when scheduling the enlist date. Work sets to be enlisted or already delisted will remain visible in your store, but users won't be able to purchase or claim them. However, users who already have licenses for the work will still have access to its content.

What control do I have on each file in the work?

For each file within a work, you can designate it as gated (accessible only to license holders) or ungated (public to everyone), and choose between downloadable or streaming formats. Additionally, you can set a future release date for files, making them visible on the work page but inaccessible until their scheduled release.

How many files can I add to a work?

You can add as many files as you like to a work.

How to restrict selling my work in certain countries?

Selecting 'Yes' for the 'Restrict selling in certain countries & areas' option allows you to specify restricted areas. Once set, a restriction message will display on the work page, and users with IPs from restricted areas will be prevented from purchasing or claiming the work.

What is royalty share and how to use this feature?

When licensing creative works commercially, it's often necessary to provide model releases, property releases, or other rights-holder agreements. Mogaokoo enables you to add rights-holders and upload required release documents for each work.
Additionally, you can opt for royalty sharing with rights-holders. Once configured, Mogaokoo automatically distributes revenue between the creator and rights-holders upon each sale, sending GOKOO tokens directly to the rights-holders' wallets. You can also designate 100% of the revenue to be sent to a different address if needed.
⚠️
Please ensure that the rights-holder's wallet address is a valid Polygon wallet address. All transactions on-chain are irreversible. Providing an incorrect address or an address on a different blockchain will result in the loss of your GOKOO tokens, and Mogaokoo will be unable to recover them.

How to select the right license for my work?

We employ Creative Commons’s system to recommend the right license based on your answers to a few simple questions. You can click on the deed link to learn more about the suggested license type.

How to use my own license for my work?

Selecting 'No' for the 'Adopt Creative Commons Licenses' option allows you to set your custom license and upload the license agreement for the work.

What is exclusively licensing?

When exclusive licensing is enabled, the first buyer of the work has the option to purchase an exclusive license by paying a surcharge. Once a work is exclusively licensed, no further purchases are permitted. If the work is licensed non-exclusively, the option for exclusive licensing will be automatically disabled.
⚠️
It is the creator's responsibility to ensure that content with the exclusive licensing option does not have any existing licenses elsewhere.

How do I remove a work?

Since all works are stored on the blockchain, true deletion of submitted works is not possible. However, you can Delist any existing work to remove it from the Mogaokoo entirely.
