What is Magic Wallet?
Mogaokoo utilizes Magic Wallet for user onboarding, enabling web3 features with email-only authentication. Magic Wallet, developed by Magic Labs, is a passwordless authentication and crypto wallet solution designed for interacting with decentralized applications (dApps). It simplifies access to dApps by securely managing cryptographic keys for users, eliminating the need for traditional passwords. Additionally, Magic Wallet serves as a secure digital wallet for storing, sending, and receiving cryptocurrencies across various blockchain platforms.
Can I use Metamask or Coinbase wallet?
To provide the most consistent and user-friendly web3 experience to all users, especially those without any previous web3 experience, we currently exclusively integrate with Magic Wallet.
How to connect or disconnect your wallet?
The Magic Wallet widget will pop up whenever you perform an action that requires a wallet connection or when you click on Wallet in the dropdown menu. Simply enter your email address and the verification code sent to your inbox to connect your wallet.
To disconnect your wallet, click on the Wallet button in the dropdown menu and open Magic wallet widget. In the Magic Wallet widget, click on the profile icon at the top left and then select Log Out.
What is my wallet address?
Whenever a new email is used to connect the magic wallet, a new wallet address is automatically assigned to the user. You can see your wallet address on the wallet page or in the Magic Wallet widget. Mogaokoo is deployed on Polygon so your wallet is also on Polygon.
How to view, receive or send tokens?
Your GOKOO token balance will be displayed directly on your Wallet dropdown. Any other tokens in your wallet will appear in the Magic Wallet widget under tokens. To receive tokens from others, simply provide your wallet address to the sender. To send tokens to another wallet, click on Send in the widget, choose the token from your wallet, and enter the recipient’s wallet address.
How to view, receive and transfer NFTs?
Your license NFTs from purchases on Mogaokoo will be displayed directly on your Wallet page. Any other NFTs in your wallet will appear in the Magic Wallet widget under the Collectibles section. To receive NFTs from others, simply provide your wallet address to the sender. To send your NFT to another wallet, click on the NFT in your wallet and then select the send option.
How to get Matic for gas fee?
To facilitate transactions on the blockchain, a gas fee is required, typically paid in Matic on the Polygon network. All transactions conducted directly on Mogaokoo are gasless, meaning the platform covers these fees for users. However, when using the Magic Wallet widget for actions like sending tokens, you'll need Matic for gas fee. You can acquire Matic directly through the Magic widget or transfer it from another wallet to conduct these transactions seamlessly.
